Rhythms of Matter continues with an open talk by OFFICE co-founders Kersten Geers and David Van Severen.

Founded in Brussels in 2002, OFFICE KGDVS has established itself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary European architecture. Working across a wide range of scales and typologies—from furniture and interiors to buildings and urban design—the practice approaches architecture as a cultural endeavor dedicated to improving the human environment. Their work addresses pressing issues such as sustainability, responsible sourcing, and long-term adaptability, treating these not as constraints but as opportunities to shape the urban and social landscape.

At once pragmatic and innovative, OFFICE’s projects are deeply informed by architectural history while remaining firmly engaged with the challenges of the present. Rather than viewing architecture as image-making, the practice creates clear spatial frameworks that allow life to unfold in all its richness and complexity.
