Guest: Mari Randsborg / COBE
Rhythms of Matter continues with an open talk by architect Mari Randsborg, CEO of COBE.
Based in Copenhagen, COBE is an architecture office founded in 2006 by architect and professor Dan Stubbergaard. Rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition, the practice works across scales and typologies, transforming cities, landscapes, and buildings into extraordinary everyday places. Internationally recognized for its work at the intersection of architecture, landscape, and urban planning, COBE has played a key role in the evolution of Copenhagen over the past two decades, contributing to large-scale urban developments such as Nordhavn.
With a background that bridges architecture, branding, and strategic leadership, Mari Randsborg brings a distinct perspective to the practice, connecting design, culture, and organization. Her work reflects COBE’s belief that architecture is built for people, shaped by context, and designed to stand the test of time. Having led creative companies for over two decades, she focuses on how collaboration, interdisciplinary thinking, and clear vision can drive meaningful and lasting change in our built environment.
