Talk: Monsters and Mutants: Explorations in the Architecture–Nature Continuum

Rhythms of Matter welcomes Winka Dubbeldam, founding partner of Archi-Tectonics and academic leader at SCI-Arc, for an open evening at Tulla.

Her work moves between architecture, research, and education, often exploring how buildings relate to larger ecological systems. Across projects and publications, she has consistently questioned fixed boundaries, between nature and structure, technology and material, imagination and performance.

The title of her talk, Monsters and Mutants, suggests a curiosity for transformation, for hybrid conditions where architecture is not static, but evolving, testing, and recalibrating itself.

On March 4, we open the space for a conversation around these ideas, and wherever they may lead.
