Rhythms of Matter continues with internationally renowned architect and co-founder of MVRDV, Winy Maas.

We are honored to welcome Winy to Tullaculture for an open talk reflecting on the ideas, ambitions, and provocations behind the award-winning international practice MVRDV.

Active in Albania since 2005, MVRDV has played a visible role in shaping parts of Tirana’s evolving skyline and public life, from Toptani Shopping Center to Downtown One, from the transformation of the Pyramid of Tirana to the Skanderbeg Building. After years of participation in international open calls across the country, the studio was recently awarded the Asllan Rusi Indoor Sports Stadium.

This evening, the conversation will move between projects and principles, exploring how global visions meet local realities. How does an international practice enter a specific context like Albania? How are ideas translated, challenged, reshaped, and ultimately built?

As Tirana continues to redefine itself, this talk invites us to reflect on density, identity, experimentation, and the rhythm of growth itself.
